1. About YZgoods

YZgoods is a South African online store based in Roodepoort, Gauteng. We sell a curated range of products and ship nationwide. YZgoods is owned and operated by Johannes Petrus van Rooyen, trading as YZgoods (sole proprietor).

2. Eligibility

To place an order with YZgoods you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be legally capable of entering into a binding contract
• Provide accurate personal and delivery information
• Have a valid South African delivery address (or contact us for international shipping)

3. Your Account

If you create an account with YZgoods, you are responsible for:

• Keeping your password safe and confidential
• Any activity that happens under your account
• Providing accurate, current information about yourself
• Telling us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the site, or attempt to defraud us.

4. Orders and Pricing

When you place an order through our website, your order is accepted at the moment you complete checkout. A confirmation will be shown on-screen and recorded in your profile under "My Orders."

All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR). Prices may change without notice, but the price shown at the time you placed your order is what we charge.

We reserve the right to:

• Decline or cancel any order, for example if a product is out of stock or if we suspect fraud
• Correct pricing errors — if a price is obviously wrong, we'll cancel the order and refund you fully
• Limit quantities on any product

If we cancel your order for any reason on our side, we will refund you in full.

5. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. All payments are processed by third-party payment providers who handle your card details directly. YZgoods never sees or stores your card information.

We do not offer credit. Full payment must be received before we dispatch your order (unless we agree to another arrangement in writing).

If payment fails, we may hold or cancel your order.

6. Delivery

Our standard delivery time is 5 to 10 business days, depending on your location within South Africa. Remote areas may take longer.

Delivery fees are shown at checkout and depend on your location. Please see our Shipping Policy for full details.

Risk in the goods passes to you when the courier delivers them to your address. If nobody is available to receive the parcel and the courier returns it to us, re-delivery may incur an extra fee.

7. Returns and Refunds

We do not accept returns for change-of-mind. We will only replace or refund if:

• The item you received is different from what you ordered
• The item arrived damaged or defective
• The item is materially different from its description on our site

If any of the above applies, please contact us within 5 business days of receiving your order. We will arrange a replacement or refund. See our Refund Policy for the full procedure.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time while its status shows as "Awaiting Payment" in your profile. Simply contact us with your order number.

Once your order status moves to "Payment Received" or any later stage, we have already begun processing it and it cannot be cancelled. If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.

If you have any doubts about an order, please contact us immediately after placing it so we can assist before it moves to the next stage.

9. Product Information

We try to describe our products as accurately as possible. Colours, textures, and finishes can look slightly different on different screens. Photographs are illustrative.

If a product's description is materially wrong and you received something different, contact us — that is covered by our Refund Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on YZgoods — including product photos, descriptions, our logo, and the design of this site — is owned by YZgoods or licensed to us. You may not copy, reuse, or redistribute it without our written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

We do our best to run a reliable service, but we can't promise the site will never have bugs or downtime. To the maximum extent allowed by South African law:

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
• Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order
• We are not liable for delays caused by load-shedding, strikes, weather, or courier issues beyond our control

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of South Africa.

Before going to court, we'd appreciate the chance to resolve any issue with you directly — most problems are much easier to sort out over a WhatsApp message.
